Dr. Aaron J. Wicks, DDS

If you're looking for a highly experienced dentist, I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Wicks. Going to the dentist is never a fun experience, and that's why you have to find someone that's professional, meticulous, and trustworthy. I've tried the "best" and most expensive dentists in Mid-town, FiDi, and Forest Hills, but I keep going back to Dr. Wick’s office because he truly cares about me as a patient, and makes the whole dental experience easy. It’s also been 10+ years now, and I have to say that Dr. Wick’s staff has been nothing but friendly and professional…something that’s hard to find in NYC.

Extremely rude staff, including the doctor. We were blatantly denied service simply because a few months back we cancelled an appointment after being informed our copay for a procedure had increased by $100. I really don't understand how a place with such horrible customer service can be in business.

The facility itself is very modern but thats the only nice thing I can say.I was quoted a price of $150 for a crown, made my appointment only to show up and be told the price had gone up to $250, to their credit I was warned before hand this could happen. I was not prepared to pay that much at the time so I cancelled the appointment. Fast forward 3 months and my wife calls to arrange the appointment and shes treated very rudely by the admin and told, amongst other things, "the doctor thinks its in your best interest to see somebody else" WTF?

As if i were dealing with a woman scorned...the fact of the matter is if they did not want my business that's fine, they are entitled but to have someone rudely and unprofessionally speak to my wife in such a way in unacceptable.

In retrospect I should have known better then to go with this Dr as on my first visit i witnessed him belittle, and patronize an employee who was having difficulty operating an x ray machine.

Avoid.

Horrible Staff!!!!!! The receptionist was RUDE. She wanted me to call my insurance carrier and verify my insurance, that's her job. I contact Fidelis while standing in the office and she wouldn't get on the phone. I never experienced anything like this before. She must had a bad day. Do not go to that Dentist office. The Dr. Aaron Wicks is very cocky too. Hate it. STAY AWAY FROM THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
