Downtown Dance Factory

I have been a dancer at Downtown Dance Factory since it has first opened. All the staff are so welcoming, and it is such a kind and positive environment! I love this place so much, and am glad to call it my second home!

My daughter wanted a "Hip Hop" Dance Party for her Birthday. I found Downtown Dance Factory and read about their company, the program offered, including the parties they provided and read some reviews. Going based on that I decided to book her 9th Birthday party there and she LOVED it. I loved how communicative the staff was prior to the day of her party. How informative and clear they were on the process and how the day would go. It is obvious they care about who they are serving --- a very tightly run ship. More importantly, on the day of her party they took care of everything, preparations, directing the parents and children where to go and what to do. The children had a fantastic time and my daughter wants her next birthday party there again. The instructors were awesome and all the children, including the boys enjoyed and it was obvious. I would highly recommend this place for a birthday party! I'm sure the classes must be just a great. Thanks again for making daughter's 9th Birthday party such a memorable one for her (and me)!!

Downtown Dance Factory in Tribeca is amazing. I take my daughter to the hip hop class and I am always so impressed by the whole operation. We have taken lots of dance classes before and it's so nice to have a good dance space for my child in our neighborhood. Everyone is so professional and welcoming. Excellent place for kids!

My daughter is extremely picky about classes she takes. With DDF, we have finally found a dance class that she LOVES (hip hop/jazz fusion) and is excited about each week. She loves Hanne, loves the uniform and loves the moves she is learning. It's the first class she has taken that involves no cajoling on my part to attend or participate -- such a pleasure for both my daughter and me! The energy is great, the location is excellent and teachers and management are top-notch. I would highly recommend this school to others.

My 5 year old daughter and several of her friends take classes at Downtown Dance Factory and they all LOVE IT! In other dance schools my daughter has gotten bored mid-way through (even if her best friend was in the class with her). This is the first time ever that my "You have dance class today." is met with an excited "Yay!!" instead of "I don't wanna go...." I'm thrilled that she loves it so much. And I'm also thrilled that the school is in our neighborhood! I predict we'll belong to Downtown Dance Factory for many years to come....
