Dougie's Jamaican Cuisine

I am a true Jamaican so I know what the food should taste like. The oxtail was very good.

I love the coconut taste in the rice and the goat dinner is very good and OX tail is good.

The customer service is terrible just the worst I ever encountered I been in there a few times and the woman who takes the orders are just unpleasant and grouchy I like the food but the attitude I get is not worth it.

Inedible! I recently discovered Jerk and went here for some Jerk Chicken. I got a box of chicken bones on top of too much rice and peas. The chicken was burned black and salty enough to melt snow. Also, it wasn't any kind of Jerk Chicken at all. It was chicken over-baked in an oven and then drowned in a horrible commercial jerk sauce that adds EVEN MORE SALT! You don't taste anything but salt and HOT! It was the worst food I ever paid for...or got for free, for that matter. I ate it for three minutes and threw it out. Wouldn't even give it to my dogs. They cost too much, too. you think for $8.00 you'd get some meat. The box is heavy, but when you open it, It's all rice and bones drowned in 2 lbs. of that disgusting sauce!
Never coming here again. Waste of money. I can't believe this dirty place has my money for nothing.

i went to dougies on friday to order some ackee and salt fish and some fried dumplings, the casher that was serving was so rude, and disgusting, just because she thought i was american, everytime i go into dougie's i get the same shitty nasty ass attuditue, the casher's workering inside dougie's are only nice if your jamaican, but because they are so narrow minded and simple, they dont even know i'm not american, from belize, which is a neighboring country next to jamaica. so dam ignorant some of these jamaican people, especially the younger adults.i would never go back to dougie's just because of the nasty atmosphere and disgusting attuditue of the server's, and i surely wouldnt recommend them to anyone and thats sad because i live around the corner from them.
