DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Lee - George Washington Bridge

Cool staff, wonderful looking lobby....nice and clean only issue was the condition of the room; broken tiles in bathroom, peeling wallpaper

This double tree was not the greatest. I booked my room and paid for it online in full. Then when I checked in I just so happened to look at my bank account and saw that I was charged again. The person who checked me in did not mention anything of this! The room wa decent but I couldn't even take a proper shower because the water was cold. When I called to ask about the extra charge I was told I had to call back later. Seriously?! I do not recommend this hotel at all for the amount that I paid to stay there. I would have had a better night at a motel.

Was convienetly located and the staff was very accommodating. Got a suite and it was very good.

Great customer service. Location is a bit farther out from downtown New York. But the hotel provides periodic shuttle. Make sure to ask ahead of time so you know the schedule.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is by far the worst hotel ever. ALL the staff were rude, unhelpful and useless. First night, we did not get picked up by the hotel shuttle. Multiple phone calls were made by me (not the hotel staffs) throughout the night to arrange for another pick up due to their mistake. The hotel shuttle is expensive for what it is worth. The van smells like something died in there and it seats at least 13-14 people, not very comfortable during summer. And you can definitely not count on them in returning any lost properties. I left my charger and headphones at the hotel, they made me pay for a service that they never carried out. Again I was the one who had to follow it up with the hotel staffs, mind you, I live in Australia, the time difference is huge. They made no effort in following it up for me at all, instead they lied to cover their mistakes and now they are ignoring my emails. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. I work in customer service and we do not tolerate their kind of behaviour at our workplace, they should know better. The staffs need to undergo training again.
