Dominican

Place used to be good. I would come here with coworkers ALOT. There food was really good before but quality has gone down and prices have gone up. The minimum for delivery is 35 to a local address, plus if you eat at the restaurant they charge you a gratuity fee and wont advise you if you leave a cash tip unknowingly. Really shady place and it's really not worth eating there anymore. I resorted to another nice dominican place called Sabroso on east meadow ave but they closed due to construction violatuons and never opened up again.There's a nice place in Westbury called Punta cana grill which delivers and their minimum is 15. I always order from Punta cana grill now. As far as I'm concerned, Rincon Dominicano is overpriced for the food and service you receive

Two times I called for delivery and two times the food came a mess and cold and both times a hour late.

I called the restaurant to complain with the manager and he was rude and he just said I don't want to hear your complain about the food and no future delivery to your house so I won't get a future complain.

He didn't want to gave me his name. Really bad attitude and really bad manager, if it was true that he was the manager.

I go there all the time when wanting a nice Dominican dish. They have great yellow rice and plantains. My typical order is boneless chicken (which are similar to ordinary chicken tenders/strips) with red beans, yellow rice and plantains. Always enough food to last me for more than one sitting!

I've been here a few times. They choices are so regular and blah. I guess me coming from Spanish culture and also exploring different Dominican restaurant this get two stars. I live up the block from this place and I never went back after I ask them for bake chicken and it taste like lemon and pepper no seasoning or any Adobo lol Js. So the people that say is good they either order the same thing or haven't try a real Spanish restaurant!

For starters, I've been to this restaurant many times over the course of ten years. The food is okay with a few exception at times. The staff is average at best. Restaurant edicate is lacking and inefficient. It's full of family members and it seems like they take advantage. Also now that the gratuity is included on the bill, they are lacking in hospitality and effort. Explain why you need to share one bottle of salad dressing for the entire restaurant? In addition to being told that the roaches are only in the bathroom !Now way!and not the kitchen? No more for me.... The back door entrance to the place is also questionable too...? Rats
