Love it! This is a true local bike store. They can help with just about everything. We have had bikes repaired, bought bike items and asked questions regarding how to teach a child to ride a bike. Very customer service friendly.

Wow talk about the rudest person in the world. I just went to try and fix a broken cable and the guy is trying to upsell me on a bunch of other stuff. With parts and labor a broken cable usually runs about $20. He quotes me at $30. I know I'm being taken for a ride, so I say to him that I've had mine fix before for about $20, and he goes off on a rant that he's the bike mechanic and he's the expert. He's so full of himself. I then left the store but not feeling comfortable about it because he's already pissed off he'll probably jack the price up on me. I walk back in and ask for my bike back and not even a word of apology and didn't even say a word to me. A real class act.

The first time I came here was with my wife and our problematic tandem. The guys were extremely courteous, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got us back on the road in no time. It was inexpensive and the issue was fixed.

We're lucky to have such a great shop in the neighborhood!

Lots of problems with this place. The owner is super rude, for starters. I was there with a friend who needed a flat fixed. Normally I would do this myself but didn't have my patch kit with me. So, he fixed my friend's flat while being snotty about it. What, you don't like being paid to work on bikes? Why do you run a bike shop? It was really expensive too.

Finally we leave, and after a couple hours my friend has a flat again. We're near my house, so I take a look. There is a chunk of glass in the tire. Did the guy miss it when changing the tube the first time? Maybe, maybe not, but it was suspicious. In the end, I couldn't get the tube patched and didn't have any spares, so my friend had to take the train home.

So he went back to the shop and told the guy what happened. The guy was really unpleasant again and accused him of getting a pinch flat from having low pressure. First, the guy was the one who inflated the tire--if there was low pressure it was his fault! Second, I saw the tube and the hole was absolutely from the piece of glass, not a pinch flat. He charged him again, too.

I would never bring my own bike here, and my friend is now going to go to another shop, even though this one is closest to him. Rude owner and bad service is all you need to know about this place.

Do you want to get completely hosed by a bunch of post punk assholes? If yes then this is your dream bike shop. I was just made to pay $400 for a bike that was simply having new cranks, a new rear tube, and a new saddle put on. Here's the story: I dropped off two bikes on 7/21 for what was estimated at a total of around $400s of repairs. I tried to pick up my bikes on the day I was told they were going to be ready 7/29 (8 days for minor work) and they were not ready so when I received a call to pick up my bikes I tried again this time I was at least able to leave with 1 bike but the 2nd bike was still not repaired. I was totally cool about it and said ok that's no problem, I wont be able to ride it anyways bc I'm leaving the country. Since its not ready on the 2 different pick up dates you originally gave me I will have to pick it up when i return, they agreed. If they had no agreed I would have taken my bike with me as it was just like anyone would have. These guys had already been trying to repair my bike for 20 days at this point and that should have been a red flag to take it and not return but I was chose to be cool and leave it since i didnt need it until i got back anyways. 20 days later upon my discussed return to the states i receive lots of angry voicemails from these guys demanding I pick up my bike so I promptly called the bike shop and then go to the bike shop where I am made to pay $140 in storage charge fees for leaving my bike there which they had agreed to!!! They didnt tell me they were charging me storage for them being late fixing the bike I tried to pick up. Is this a practical joke? These guys are defiantly jokers. Bike not ready when they said it would be 2xs, then giving me bad attitude, terrible customer service, lied to me about not remembering I was leaving town just to make an extra buck and the worst part is on my 7 block bike ride home the bike rode like shit the cranks made loud clicking sounds the alignment was off, the chain actually fell off and the bike is completely caked and covered in dirt from the basement they stored it in. I love supporting local and small business in fact I am a local and small business so I get how hard it is but i will never have anything to do with these clowns again besides flipping them the bird when I drive by. I gave these guys around $700 for basically getting my bike really dirty and giving me lots of attitude. I regret every penny I spent that is going to help that wack lame business stay open. F U guys. You SUCK a fat one. Thanks for providing me with the worst experience of that kind in my life to date. Now I have to take my bike to a real bike shop to get it actually fixed. I would have been better off buying a new bike. Thanks for robbing me, jerks. NO ONE SHOULD EVER GO HERE. Ive never written a review before now for any reason and I'm not at all an angry person but I had to do this I mean after all that bs the bike wasn't even fixed properly.
