Am a member of the Scattered Site Program. In this program the Management rutinely does not pay landlords their rents on time even though they are being paid to do so. As a result some clients have been evicted from their apartments upon multiple occasions according to staff and clientele. I, myself received at least three calls to my door to sign eviction proceeding notices and, when my rent was overdue by over $10,000.00, I received a dispossess. Recently I've received phone calls from members of the Turning Point Community that state Turning Point is loosing buildings and apartments because of their failures to pay their obligations on time and, as a result, clients such as myself were being placed in dumps. I was also warned that I will probably end up in the same boat. As TP is currently over $6,500.00 in the hole on my rent as of this writing, and, as the Management of my building has already informed me, they are "getting rid of all the programs." I informed them months ago that if they don't pay the rent not to expect me to do so. At this point I am calling for a case conference concerning this and some criminal allegations that were brought to my attention at a young ladies tansitional shelter late last year and which I could not act upon in my role as Chairman of the Client Advisory Board, the Client Director at TP and as a duly elected Member of the Board. In short...the organization SUCKS...BIG TIME. If you are referred there....RUN!!!
