We met with bill in late January 2012 to only do some price comparisons for a two bathroom project. I really liked how Bill Hancock was able to do the virtual construction tour because it was accurate, informative, and actually helped us decide on the exact setup we wanted. When we finally met with Bill, which was always on late or weird hours at our request, he wasn't a pushy salesman, but very knowledgeable and understanding as to what we wanted and what would make the most sense in our rooms. He even showed us some additional discounts to the order through manufacturer sales and payment options that were a great help.
The only bad thing about the experience is when checking us out, even though the entire order sheet had our specified stain on it, one section didn't and the manufacturer sent the wrong cabinets. This delayed our project by about 3 weeks!
Regardless, we'll be talking to Bill again when we renovate our kitchen in about a year

Provided kitchen cabinets for our 12x20' kitchen. Did the entire design work, all upgraded front panels and internals. We still needed to pay for installation, and the appliances, but Direct Depot has high quality preferred companies.

The designer Bill Hancock was really good. He designed our kitchen literally while we sat in his office, it almost flew by too quickly. He's obviously an expert at it, and saved our kitchen several headaches, while giving us a very high quality kitchen at an excellent price. (Hint - the first price he shows you isn't the one you'll pay). He did miss in a couple areas (no one is perfect), which we adjusted onsite, due to unusual requests, but overall he did an excellent job. Follow up was a little slow in today's internet age, but was satisfactory (usually within a week with any questions).

Where do I start, on March of this year my husband and I went to Direct Depot to shop for kitchen cabinets. The process, errors, and lack of communication from employees was beyond frustrating. We felt devalued as customers and far from a priority.

First, the cabinets were delivered in late June and did not come in the right color. They advised us that they would build the cabinets again in the right color but would take another two months. One cabinet was not built at all and would have delayed the project regardless even if the cabinets were the right color. We also came to the store (an hour drive from our home with two young children) to pick out our hardware (as we were instructed to do at our convenience) and the designer claimed to never receive the information even though we watched the secretary write the email. After many attempts to convey our hardware choices through both phone and email, the hardware was finally delivered, and incorrectly.

In the beginning of October, a series of emails and phone calls were made to a manager, now taking care of our order due the designer no longer employed there, over a two week time period. None of which were answered. We felt uncomfortable as we had nothing in writing to confirm that our cabinets were truly being built. My husband had to take a day off work in order to drive up and speak in person to anyone who could confirm our order was in the process of being built and delivered to our home. Little apologies were made as they were "busy interviewing."

We were thankful to schedule a delivery date in November and my contractor was going to begin to work on the following day. My husband shared our availability with the manager and he ensured me that he would schedule a delivery for a time I could be present. The day prior my husband received a call from the delivery company that they would be coming during a time that we would not be available. Once again, my husband had to take off work for the only time available, the following day which also was the day my contractor was scheduled to begin.

Once the (correct color) cabinets were delivered, we found a 12" upper cabinet was missing. We now had another two weeks for the missing cabinet to built again and schedule our contractor back in to install it when he was available. We were also missing trim and toe kicks. I feel that it should never take so long and with so many mistakes for the amount of money that you spend. Would never recommend.

On October 17, 2014, Direct Depost finished our kitchen renovation. When I walked into the kitchen for the first time by myself, it actually brought tears to my eyes because it is so beautiful! Not only is the kitchen beautiful and functional, but the renovation misery was truly minimized by the nicest, most trustworthy, and competent contractors we have ever dealt with. Since there are three entities involved in this operation, I will review them separately:
The first entity was the cabinet design by Alan Reichenthal. Our kitchen presented a real challenge for Alan because it is very small and has three doors in it. In our old kitchen--and I do mean old!--I had actually injured my neck trying to reach things in the corner cabinets, so I was anxious to have that issue resolved. Another issue was the 13" entrance: so tight that the finish was worn off the refrigerator from people squeezing through it. Alan solved all of these problems and came up with a truly brilliant cabinet design, where everything is easily accessible, and roomier entrance and exit. I will never have to "dig" for another pot! I think my favorite feature of all is the pull out spice rack--so convenient. In addition, the cabinets are georgeous. I hereby anoint Alan "The King of Cabinetry!"
The second entity under this common roof is Stephen Anger. Stephen is an impressively well accredited design consultant, who handled our granite countertops for us. He is knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk with, and provided us with excellent guidance when we had questions. Since this was an unfamiliar venture for us, we were grateful to have someone of his caliber to guide us.And the granite he helped us find is literally jaw-droppingly beautiful.
Lastly, the third entity is "Lucky Three"--the contractor, headed by Bezrok Tsay. The company name is a misnomer, because WE were the lucky ones. We have some health issues that required special measures to be taken, and Bezrok and his team went to great lengths to insure our wellbeing was not compromised. All of his workers were of high character, and we felt totally comfortable leaving them in our home--whether we were there or not. Our kitchen presented some serious challenges: A very old house where nothing was square, a tiny room that made it difficult to work, and some antiquated discoveries where things had to be brought up to code. Each and every challenge fell to Bezrok's knowledge and experience. Work was always carried our calmly and confidently, and clean up was impeccable. The crew was so pleasant and cordial, that my husband actually said, after it was all finished, that he kind of missed them!
All in all the project went smoothly, glitches were dealt with, and the results are breathtaking and functual. Even the building and electrical inspectors commented on what a nice job was done. I would hightly recommend doing a kitchen with this company.

My neighbor bought their stunning new kitchen through Direct Depot and were really pleased with quality and price. My experience was equally as good - the showroom has two floors of full kitchen displays (granite countertops, flooring, appliances, etc) and thousands of door samples...I had a hard time deciding...but my designer was patient and very talented. I ended up taking her recommendation for a shaker style door with honey stain and beautiful Uba Tuba granite (which was only $34.99 including installation!!!) I guess their tile showroom is new downstairs as my neighbor hadn't heard of it -- gorgeous and so many choices. My husband was VERY happy with the price -- and the free giveaways -- including very nice stainless steel sink (we chose double bowl) and decorative hardware. All in all, we came in over $3,000 LESS than our original kitchen - and we had upgraded options. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a great experience, top quality cabinetry, and unbelievable prices.
