Asian stuff from not really needed to just perfect stocked! Cheap prices, like you would expect from a store like this. Security makes mean faces but is always the nicest ;-P

I shopped here when it was called Super D or something, it closed and I was glad to see it's return. Best prices ANYWHERE for basics like socks, underwear, etc. The staff is always friendly, especially Isa the cashier and the security guards. Everybody in the neighborhood goes there, it is a shame that Greenpoint is becoming gentrified and this place will most likely disappear in the years to come, as all good things in NYC have recently. As I write this, I am wearing their underwear, socks, and even using their 3 dollar eyeglasses to see!!! I am in no way related to the owners or anything, but I am a walking model of DII products. Perhaps I should be their paid spokesmodel.

The Big D, never heard of it before I moved to NYC, and I can't say I'm impressed nor disappointed for that matter. The Big D is a glorified dollar store, is this what the D stands for? No one knows for sure. However, I do know that you can find a plethora of mundane items to further clutter your life. Knickknacks, and trivial ornamentation abound, it's often said that there is no better place to find a cheap easter wreath composed entirely of plastic eggs.
If you are looking to complicate your life at a fraction of the price, I cannot recommend a better solution than shopping at the Big D.
