Adorable little shop with a wonderful selection of gourmet chocolates. The cashew nut buttercup is a MUST try. The guava is one of my top picks too. Wow! The fillings are unique combinations and are made fresh as you can tell after just one bit. I am a huge fan of all things dark chocolate and they do not disappoint. The service is super friendly and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Amazing little find in Bay Ridge. Yummy!!

Was in the area visiting a friend this weekend and stumbled upon this great little chocolate shop. For a small shop they had a large selection of truffles and bon bons and other items such as toffee. I purchased a 25 piece box and I thought that it would last the week. However, the chocolates are so delicious that they are almost gone. My favorites were the dark chocolate truffle, pumpkin truffle and bourban pecan truffle, and the raspberry bon bon. I can't wait to visit this shop again. Everything was wonderful, lovely shop, excellent service, great products, and the BEST PART IS THAT IT IS ALL HANDMADE ON SITE!

Unique, tiny chocolate store off 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge, makes its own chocolate. They are dandy treats from a small collection of distinctive filling flavors.
We found the dark chocolate way above average than the quasi-distinctive brands like Lindt and Godiva but pricing at Deliso Confection is notably higher.
The dark chocolate lacks sophistication and complexity. The milk chocolate could be slightly creamier. The truffles and bon bons were nice but were reminiscent of Perugina (now owned by Nestle's Swiss). My taste shifts to Perugina. German based Heller Chocolate, available as bars in many markets offers extremely tasty white, milk and dark chocolates that I find more satisfying. Belgian Cote D'Or makes superb chocolate.
For gifting, Teuscher's and Maison du Chocolate are virtually orgasmic chocolate experiences at nearly $100 per pound.
Deliso Confections makes nice chocolate in its small store and one must support the creativity of making high-end chocolate. It's moderate pricing and interesting fillings make this store a welcome addition to Brooklyn, It's nice for special occasions and is very enjoyable.

I have been enjoying handmade chocolate for a long time. It started with a chocolate shop in Illinois, then I discovered "Sucre", in New Orleans. It's a great sweet shop.Their French Macrons are beyond compare, but their chocolate, which I thought was so great has been eclipsed by what is being turned out at Deliso.
I give the truffles that Anthony, the owner, makes,to all my female friends and relatives for presents on birthdays and holidays. Everyone says they have never tasted chocolates so good.
So guys,If you want to make her love you,buy your chocolates here.
Ladies, If you don't have that special guy around right now, love yourself with a box.
You will not be disappointed and you will never touch Godiva again. :-)

AMAZING! Hands down my favorite chocolate shop ever. The owner is a really nice guy, and all the chocolate - made right in the shop - is phenomenally delicious. The Pear/Guava is my personal favorite. It's a bit on the pricy shop, but I haven't found chocolate this good anywhere. Can't recommend enough!
