I ordered delivery through Eat24 (a Yelp service). First, the delivery time listed on the app was way off -- which means the restaurant marked it as "ready for delivery" 15 minutes too early, or the delivery guy was slower than expected. (It's the restaurant that provides expected delivery times, not Eat24 staff itself).
The delivery guy called me when he arrived and spoke in such a muffled way that I could hardly hear what he was saying. He seemed to be interrogating me but apparently he was just telling me he was downstairs. When I picked up the food he said "give me tip," which is extremely rude. He pointed to the delivery printout saying that tips were in cash -- if he had just done that, and politely suggested that I could pay in cash, instead of forcibly demanding one -- I would have been more inclined to give him one. I'm trying to limit my expenses so I don't usually tip on delivery. Yes, this is improper too, but there are more polite ways for a delivery person to ask for compensation.

Food was dry and bland. Had to send my Paneer Manchurian back twice. First to ask for sauce, since there were only dried bits of sauce and most of the paneer was totally dry and bland. Then to ask for the dish to be brought up to medium spicy as ordered, as the dish had absolutely no spice whatsoever even after the sauce had been added. Then the dish still came out completely bland. Not even a little bit spicy. The sauce was not cooked down nicely and had just been slapped onto the paneer with no spices added. It was inedible and bland. I didn't even take it to go. My friend's noodle dish was also too dry and she had to add soy sauce to make it edible. I don't know what the good reviews are for... Decor? Appeal to white people who don't know good indian food? Not a good option for Indian Chinese at all...

Below average food, marination heavy on turmeric or yellow colour..for close to $10 you can go to taste of cochin in bellrose queens wth 10 additional dishes from north and south india..real gyd flavour.spinach had less oil(healthy) but tandoori chicken was horrible, tikka masala has fake taste but nice but rest everything has a ton of cream.even after 5 hours my stomach felt like i eat brick.not goin there again.

Went here for the lunch buffet. It's just OK. Nothing great. Chicken Tikka Masala was the only flavorful thing. Everything else was just passable, but at $9.95, its a pretty good deal for a buffet!
