Del'rio Diner Restaurant

Been going for years, the food is always great (with the exception of two times, but off days do happen, you can't truly judge a place off of one time). The prices are fare comparable to the portion size they give you (which is huge) and the wait staff are always friendly.

Horrible. Overpriced. Food tasted bland and had to send back my plate twice cause it wasn't cooked properly. Never going there again.

Nothing fancy. Service is spotty. Has parking lot. Family friendly.

Our meals were supposed to come with toast. Out waitress never brought it out and never would have if we didn't ask. When we did ask her for toast and butter she seemed annoyed. Our food was mediocre at best. I order two eggs with corn beef hash at every diner I go to and this place was the worst. The place looks like it was once a nice establishment but now it's a cluttered mess, especially by the front door. There's a much better diner by 86th street that I'll be going to from now on.

My daughter said her grilled cheese sandwich was " ok" . We have been very disappointed the last couple of times we have gotten food from here. Placed an order for pick up and the girl kept getting it wrong. Ordered Greek salad ( which I normally enjoy) with grilled shrimp and the shrimp was ice cold and had no taste they're wasn't any dressing provided the salad was filled with cabbage as if they needed to unload the cabbage for some reason. There was one piece of tomatoes and it was the one piece that shouldn't have been thrown away, the end piece. They put HUGE CHUNKS of feta cheese. My husband ordered the Italiano panini which he has ordered in the past, and it was very bland. This was always our favorite diner but I have to say sadly, I don't think we will be going back.
