They mixed up two of my bridesmaids dresses and mailed one the OTHERS dress. The dresses are a size 0 and a size 8. HOW do you mess that up?! They dodged my bridesmaid when she was in their store and kept asking where her dress was. When I started calling, they offered excuses instead of any consolation. Hello? At least offer my bridesmaids a gift card. SOMETHING to make up for it.

I was hesitant after reading all of the reviews online. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my three bridesmaids accompanied by our mothers, we we're a large, loud group. Within two and a half hours we had all three bridesmaids dresses and my wedding dress ordered. My consultant was awesome and very sweet. The store was beautiful and clean, I believe it's pretty much brand new. My bridesmaids were able to pick dresses off the rack to try on, they were sorted by style number. The store had a few big signs that showed what the dresses looked like accompanied by their style number, so it was very easy to locate- then find their sizes in that particular dress. The dressing room area was huge and provided plenty of space for my big party. When it came time for me to start trying on dresses, I explained what I believed I was looking for, since it was the first time I had been trying on dresses. My consultant and I walked through the racks and picked 4 different dresses to get an idea. I fell in love with the first dress and pretty much had my heart set on it as I tried on the other few to double check my choice. Once I said "Yes to the dress" my consultant had me ring the bell. My consultant was so sweet and invested in me that she cried along side my family, I thought it was very touching.
Overall, the store was beautiful and the staff working was great. The only issue that occurred was that I was mis-measured and my dress was two sizes too small. It was absolutely no problem! I had ordered the dress mid September and it was expected to be in mid November, it had arrived to the store before October! The manager was awesome and simply did an exchange, my corrected size is expected to be in around November.

Not a bad place at all. I had made an appointment about 2 months before I actually went in. Keep in mind I have never been to a David's Bridal before this and it was to buy my wedding gown. I walked in and the woman who checked me in was very serious. I had made a joke to my sister and she gave me this look. Then about 5 minutes later a woman came over to help me. I had brought my mother, flower girls and 4 of my bridesmaids with me and we were all accommodated for. They had more than enough chairs for them to sit in, while I tried on dresses. The woman was very nice to me and my family. She had politely asked the women not to let the little kids on the staging area, as there were other people trying on dresses and because of the little step she didn't want them to fall. Then she asked me what I wanted and had in mind and we went and pulled a few dresses. After every dress she complimented me and helped me into yet another dress. After about 5 dresses I found the one I loved and rang that silly little bell and made a silly little wish. This is kinda where things went downhill for a bit. After I picked me dress, she started going around helping other people, so my bridesmaids went and started looking for dresses, which was fine. We literally had to track her down though to ask for the dresses in their sizes and when we were finally ready to check out, my mom had to do two laps around the store before she came out of the back with a dress for someone else. The checkout was fine and she was perfectly nice and it was a nice visit. Would I reccommend? Yes I would. But if you want everything focused around you from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, go to some boutique.

You would think with all of the bad reviews, they would try and step up their game. I had to go in to try on a bridesmaid dress Tuesday because I was worried about sizing. I am 4 months pregnant and it is a short engagement wedding. The wedding is next month and I was trying on the dress that the bride already ordered for me a couple days ago at the lake grove store, which she said was a much better experience. We paid a rush fee. The dress just fit, but being that I know I will be larger next month I was thinking it would need to be ordered a size bigger. The woman who was helping me, was not nice at all. All she said were condescending things like "You understand the fresh one will be smaller right?" "Wait, you're pregnant? ...oh...then that's totally not going to fit." But, was reluctant to suggest any helpful advice, or any positive encouragement at all. I already feel huge. I don't need her wonderful comments reminding me.
I had to ask for everything myself to get the order updated. I will never be going to this location for another wedding. I suggest getting a new staff. The whole process was completely unprofessional and an unpleasant experience.
Now, we just got a confirmation email that the dress is arriving 12 days after they guaranteed it when I was there. I'm furious. I'll be calling as soon as they open today. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION!
