Truly the best sushi I've ever had. Freshest fish, big pieces (not heavy on the rice) - Best lunch special in town, hands down. Love it, can't say enough about it

Lunch special is considered an inconvenience
And two separate orders are put into one container
Choice of miso soup or salad is not offered rather
Chosen for you; ( take - out ).
Eating in, was nice too see improved decor
But careful eyes still see their exterminator
Needs to improve / they certainly are closed
Enough, to eliminate, this Bodega problem.
I still order take-out but avoid eating in.

nice atmosphere, good service, funky outdated decor, pleasant staff, best gyoza i've ever had, fresh fish and reasonably priced... our delicious nabeyaki udon had extra "protein" floating in it which kind of ruined the whole dining experience for us... the place is clean, however, presence of small roach in our food was alarming... our waitress was very attentive and offered a fresh bowl which we declined, at the end, we were not charged for the unfortunate dish...

better than many local japenese restaurants. decor needs some updating.

The fish is always fresh. The rice has a certain taste and texture that no other place matches. The roll combinations are phenomenal and the chefs will make any combination that you want, or alter anything on the menu. This is by far the best sushi in Great Neck. Take-out is also very timely and convenient and fresh.
