Part of my order was Buffalo wings but it had too much wing sauce. Had to wipe it off. I usually take couple of slices from here and those are great. Much improvements after renovation. Hard working staff though.

Here is the email I wrote to Seamless Web just now regarding this restaurant. I ordered from this place on 1/23 and never received my food. To be fair there was a snowstorm in the area. However, please do read the review. My bone to pick is more about being lied to multiple times (restaurant employees kept telling me over phone that my order had gone out for delivery), and the response I got when I called the last time and was informed that the restaurant was closing and that no more deliveries were going out (rude, inconsiderate, unapologetic, and self-righteous).

I am personally never going to give this place my business ever. And I would encourage everyone to do the same. There are enough good pizza places around the area to not deal with these folks.

------

I would like Seamless to terminate its relationship with this vendor.

Let me first say that I understand that the snowstorm is creating a tremendous burden on Seamless/Grub Hub, and creating a difficult customer service environment for both your company and the numerous restaurants that operate on the platform.

And because I understand that, I think I took a number of steps to be an understanding and generally reasonable customer. I ordered from two places that were open earlier in the day in my parents' neighborhood (where I am staying for the weekend): T-Bone Diner, and Austin House. Both took deliveries and when I called to follow up on the orders, T-Bone Diner informed me that they were closed, and Austin House didn't answer the phone after multiple tries. I have sent you separate e-mails regarding ensuring that these charges do not show up. Also, I understand that you don't have perfect information on every single restaurant on your platform and why they were taking orders on Seamless if they were closed. I get it.

However, on the third try, I became a bit wiser and called D'Angelo's ahead of time to confirm that they were taking Seamless orders. This was at 6:08pm. They confirmed that they were in fact open and taking orders. I then placed an order (6:20pm time stamp below). As you can see, the delivery estimate was 6:55pm - 7:05pm. I realize that the snowstorm conditions obviously delay their ability to deliver under 'normal operating' times. I called at 7:40pm (half an hour later than their usual estimate), and I genuinely did ask politely if my order had already gone out for delivery. The person told me that yes, indeed, the order had gone out and that it was on its way. I need to double-check my phone but I believe I called once more to confirm this.

I then called again at 8:22pm (two hours after I first placed my order, and nearly 1.5 hours after the usual delivery time). The person who answered the phone gave me a very rude "the other person you spoke to has left, we are closing up shop, and we are not doing any more deliveries. The person you spoke to must have been confused." When I asked why the other person had essentially lied to me, the response I got was a: "what do you want me to do?"

As I said, I understand that the storm creates unusual challenges. That being said, had I been informed of this two hours earlier, I would have been able to go out and potentially get something else for myself and my father, whereas that possibility has doubtless diminished now that it's 8:45pm. I do not appreciate being lied to, and I don't appreciate the cavalier approach the restaurant took - it was basically a "it's a snowstorm, we're drinking from the hose here, and I don't care if you've been lied to multiple times by our employees. Too bad, we're closed."

I recently placed a rather large order over the phone for a small party. Everything was great! The food was hot and tasty, the delivery came during the time frame I asked for, all my special instructions were followed (salad made with romaine instead of iceberg, wings cooked well done, etc). I had also asked for a side of parmesan cheese and they included a large container of it. The salad was so fresh that 3 days later I'm still eating it (lots of left overs) and it's still in good shape. I'm very picky and hard to please, and I was very happy with my experience. I highly recommend them!

D'Angelos used to be one of the best pizzaria's in queens. Sadly, that restaurant has taken a turn for the worst. On November 20, 2014 my wife and I went to eat lunch at D'Angelos and as we sat down at a table, up came a roach crawling on top of the table. Needless to say, we were grossed out and noticed how poorly maintained the restaurant was.
