We have been dining at many different Indian restaurants throughout downtown Brooklyn ever since we moved into the area. But we have failed to find one that matches our gold standard, which is Karma Kafe in Hoboken, NJ. Until now that is. The food is authentic, the service is attentive, and they genuinely care about their food. Awesome Chicken Tikka Marsala, Lamb Korma, Naan, and Paratha breads. Highly recommended.

This place has opened recently and having lived in the neighborhood many years I can say that it certainly beats any other Indian nearby. The place is family run and every customer is greeted with a warm welcome. The service and menu is great - they offer a large variety of dishes from different parts of India and the taste is authentic (non of the occasional - Tikka Masala tasting of ketchup!). We had Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken all of which were excellent. The sizes of the meals are generous and as we also got a sample appetizer and dessert on house, we left with our bellies very full. Will definitely come back!
