Dr. Richmond is someone to avoid. Find a more responsive and capable surgeon. I found him to be abrasive and rather full of himself which was curious given he was your typical suburban practicioner with very average credentials. Because it was not life or death matter and the fact that he was wide open for appointments (go figure), we decided to see him. It would have been better to wait a few weeks and meet with a caring and capable doctor rather than a lesser doctor like Richmond.
He was more interested in proscribing as many tests as possible, even though the range of diagnoses and treatment options was extremely limited.
Clearly, it is apparent why he is easy to get an appointment with. He is a third rate doctor.
