Comic Strip Live

Have been going to Comic Strip for ten years. A few times a year. Laughing is good for you. Staff is terrific and comics professional and funny. Great place to celebrate happy occasions‼️

Okay drinks, good vibe, and some really good comics. There was a two drink minimum. Drinks and food is a tad on the expensive end (and the nonalcoholic drinks were far too sweet). As with most comedy clubs, if you don't want to be the target of the jokes, sit far away from the stage (though most comics we saw that night were keen on being" all-inclusive").

Come for some good laugh. Just don't expect too much from the bar/kitchen.

The show itself was very good. The comedians were funny and engaging. However my complaint is about the prices of FOOD and DRINKS!! I cant believe I paid $8 for popcorn. The Liquor drinks were seriously watered down. I even got a non-alcoholic beverage, and it was watered down tremendously also, besides them over filling the glass with ice. If you're guna charge $14 for a drink, make it a DRINK! Not water, and the nerve to charge $6 for an extra watered down shot. But the show was very good. I had a good time there, I Laughed all night. The waitresses were very nice also. As well as the hostess who greeted me upon arrival.

first of all, they try to sell tickets 20$. you can buy it on groupon 5$ each or in times square for 6 in 20$ after a short bargain.
if you come a little after they start it's even free….

been there three times already because i live 2 blocks away.

the catch is that they have 2 items minimum. i respect that, because that's their money, but they don't have any food other than a jot dog, doritos and popcorn. when we asked for yhr check they suddenly tried to say ot's 20$ min per person(!!).
the shows are begginers comedians, some are better than others, atmosphere is like any bar. sometimes there are 5 people in the crowd...

bottom line, the shows are nice, but the people who works there makes you feel like they fooled you.

i might advise to look up for another comedy bar.

Great venue for standup! And really accommodating staff and management for the constant rotation of up-to-the-minute comedians.
