Definitely go if you want to pay $75 for something that costs $25-35 online AND if you want to be treated like crap by unknowledgeable staff.

EPIC FAIL!!!! This place is a total disaster! The worst and most unprofessional eyeglasses store I have ever visited!!! They damaged and ruined my $250 pair of eyeglasses while doing a routine service that takes two minutes. These people don't know what the hell they're doing. Don't waste your time going here or you'll be sorry... They will waste your time and money and damage your property.

I came in today to replace the silicone nose pads on my rimless eyeglasses. Simple and routine enough one would think.... think again! A woman salesperson quickly took my glasses and said no problem, we can do that for you.

5 minutes later as I'm browsing the store she calls me over and says something like I'd like to help you but I have a customer to take care of and leaves me hanging in the middle of the work. Mind you this is already taking much longer than it should. She calls over another woman employee and tells her to finish. Now this second employee is thrown into the middle of something she did not start and looks lost and confused... She kept peeking over at the salesperson who left her hanging. I was standing right there by the counter watching everything, and saying to myself what is wrong with this picture.

5 minutes later the second employee who's now working on my eyeglasses looks to be struggling a bit. Finally she finished and i see her taking a regular industrial counter or bathroom paper off a roll, and wipe my lenses after she sprayed them with what I assume was a lens cleaner solution. She didn't use a special lens cloth which is the only thing you should touch lenses with, not even a paper towel nor a kleenex tissue. AN INDUSTRIAL PAPER from a roll!!! Right away she told me $8 please, before I even got my glasses back. I said wait a minute I'd like my glasses back first.

After she reluctantly handed over my eyeglasses I started to inspect them and immediately noticed a HUGE scratch and a hole right by the edge of the lens by the nose pad! I inspected my eyeglasses right before I handed them over and this scratch was not there! These glasses cost me $250 and they ruined them, and then had the audacity to be sneaky and tried to charge me $8 for the service...

This probably happened to the first salesperson while she worked on my glasses, and that's why she gave them to the second employee to try and pull a fast one after damaging them, during a simple and routine procedure. What a bunch of con artists!!! The so called store manager was right there and totally tired to shift the blame. She said there was no way for her or anyone to know whether the scratch was there or whether someone damaged the lens or not. She also told me that they used lens covers at all times and there was no way for this to happen. Well, let me tell you that I watched the second employee the whole time and saw her handle my eyeglasses with her bare hands and without any lens protection or covers. So the store manager was lying, what a fraud.

She offered to not charge for the nose pads. Thanks but no thanks lady...

Cohen's Fashion Optical - Please don't try to pretend to reach out to me and tell me that you're committed to delivering the best possible customer experience. I don't want to hear it!!! Because that was by far the worst possible experience, and if that's the best experience you can provide or the best you can do, then you should not be in business...

The worst experience ever, never going back. Ordered glasses and contacts. It took two days to get a complete exam, don't try doing this on your lunch hour. Appointments do not help, you still end up waiting.

My contact lenses were fine however the experience with the glasses was horrific.

After wearing my glasses for a day I realized that I did not have progressive lenses, which I know my prescription called for. I took the glasses back and was advised that they did not notice the lenses were to be progressive and ordered regular lenses. I was advised that it cost more money for progressive, which I paid and in addition I requested that they add transition lenses as well.

After two weeks, I got the glasses back checked the progressive lenses and took them home. After wearing the glasses over the weekend I realized that the transition was never added. I again took the glasses back and received an apology. I was advised that it would take another two weeks to get the glasses back, that the entire order had to be redone.

Two weeks has arrived and I have no glasses, and no phone call. I have been calling the number all morning and no answer, I will walk over at lunch time to find out what will happen in the next saga of this.

I ordered the glasses in January, here it is March and still no glasses!!! uuuggghhh!!!

THE WORST. I decided to come to Cohen's over the mom & pops optical and I shouldn't have. You wait forever to be seen in person and forget about calling. Any time i called they couldn't locate my records without multiple people getting involved.

I decided to do my glasses in store and fulfill my contacts through 1-800-contacts but when the retailer called the store, they said they had no record of me. After calling on a conference call and being on it for over 15 minutes, they were finally able to locate my prescription. SO UNORGANIZED.

I don't know why i didn't learn my lesson but I figured since my last exam was less then a year ago and I could use my insurance allowance to refill my contacts, I went in on Jan 6th to order them. I called week after week and they weren't there. I finally GO IN 7 weeks later for them to say "they've been here and we called you" but there was only a trial pair!!!!! It's almost 2 months and I still haven't received my contacts.

If I could post a sign on the door that said ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK I would. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again.
