Classic Sofa of NY

I found Classic Sofa and Blake, and now have the most beautiful and comfortable Knole sofa in my den. Blake was by my side, tirelessly helping me the entire time. He found the fabric that took my breath away, and love to this day. He shopped with me for the finials.
Just recently I had Classic Sofa change the stuffing in another sofa I own to their classic cushion inserts. It came out great!

Horrible horrible experience using Classic Sofa in summer of 2015. I chose them because my designer had had a prior experience with the old Classic Sofa, and he insisted I use them. He has determined after my experience that this is definitely NOT of the same caliber and he will not use them again. We dealt mostly Blake Anding, who was smooth over the phone but never followed through on any of his promises. Their promise is a 2 week couch. I ordered the couch in May and ultimately received it in September! In the interim, they cut the wrong style of couch and had to reorder the fabric from Germany and remake the couch. I discovered this, but they refused to admit their mistake, they just ignored my questions about the time frame. They also were a no-show on a scheduled delivery where I took off work to receive the couch. A no-show with a no-call. When I called all of the phone numbers I had for them to find out what happened, I received a call back from Blake many days after the fact who apologized but STILL did not admit to the mistake! Ultimately, they delivered the sofa with some feeble-sized 12 inch pillows that were supposed to be 18 inch pillows. I called Blake while the delivery guys were there in order to ensure I got the right pillows. Blake encouraged me to accept delivery of the couch despite yet another mistake on their part, and ensured me he would get me the right pillows cut ASAP. I never heard from them again. I would have been much more satisfied getting a high end showroom piece for the nearly $6Gs it cost me to have a terrible experience. After using the couch for 1 year, the down fill is all mush. Definitely GO somewhere ELSE. They do not now what they are doing, and do not care about the customer's experience.

I'm an interior designer from Boston and I can't say enough about the work that Classic Sofa of NY has done for me. They are detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. They have done everything they can to ensure that our custom made sofa met our expectations. We requested special fill, sprung seats, custom dimensions, memory foam mattress and locking casters on our ottomans. The were ready and able to make extra pillows too. It is hard to find quality workmanship but these guys deliver.

I bought right from the showroom the other was custom made. I am
very pleased with the sofas---so comfortable! The service was terrific.
Turnaround time on the custom made was exactly what they told me.
They offered free freight which was an unexpected bonus! Would
definitely buy from them again.

SOFA NIGHTMARE. DO NOT BUY FROM CLASSIC SOFA. My wife and I purchased a custom sofa from these people. The sofa was promised and scheduled for delivery by them on (4) separate dates prior to the final date of delivery. Two of these delivery dates were cancelled on the date of planned delivery, after arrangements had been made to obtain access to the building elevator and for someone to be present to accept delivery. When the sofa was delivered, it did not conform to the plans and specifications of the sofa that we ordered.  It did not simply deviate from the design plan in only one or two cosmetic aspects, but, instead, was inconsistent with the design plans in multiple substantive ways. Our interior designer and other furniture specialist agreed that the sofa was incorrectly instructed. It was unreasonably uncomfortable and truly unusable. They refused to take the sofa back or to provide a refund. Stay away. There are so many other reputable places to get your furniture in NYC.
