CKGS Visa Application Centre New York

I have been trying to submit my request to get INDIAN VISA online but cannot because I lost my Indian passport and other nativity documents and now I cannot get a visa to meet my own parents and relatives under Modis leadership I am very diasspointed, will never visit India
I called several times was put on hold for more than 30 minutes spoke to very rude people from India telling me that my application will be put on hold without refunding my $$$ and reject the application without refund
Ckgs and Indian govt has created a new stream of revenue to help each other

The total fee to get visa is approx $500 to visit my own country

I called Indian mission in New York no one picks up and no one has returned my calls

I had problem with their website, My datughtes name print with same first and last name. When I contacted Coustomer service wait 48 hour to fix . its a bug in their sysyem. I submiteed all the documents according the check list. First e-mail says you submitted incomplete document. Anyway I got visa stamped in one weeek.

I am wondering, any other country in the world has to submit this many documents for visa???????

Very seamless and pleasant experience. The staff is polite and helpful, service is very quick; and the place is not crowded, hence waiting times are very short. All in all, if you go in with an appointment, you will be out in 5 minutes with a smile. I do not have experience of a walk-in without appointment; so cannot comment on that.
