The salon offers good salon treatments, but their customer service is severely lacking! They still issue gift cards with expiration dates (against current law). And they treat people using gift cards as second class citizens and don't let them use gift cards for many of their discounts & promotions.

This is against current law AND insulting! (we bought my wife gift certificates- paying cash- and when she tried to use them they badgered her about having a gift card when trying to use it for various promotional offers)

I understand that companies can do this sort of thing when you purchase a Groupon or similar offer- laws governing gift certificates don't apply to these- and that is understandable. But, they treated my wife as if this is what she was bringing into their shop.... it makes you feel awful and taken advantage of when you pay good money up front.

The only function of expiration dates in a case like this is the cheat the average customer who doesnt use it in time out of their money, and further- they use it as an excuse to not let the customer use coupons. They are taking advantage, and its wrong.

And all of this is not nearly the first time we've encountered RUDE or hostile personalities & customer service at this salon! Stress is NOT what you are looking for when you go to a salon!

This place is a complete rip-off. The owner has noooooooo sense of customer service and is only after your money. Horrible service. She definitely lost me as a customer. Please don't bother going there.

This place is the biggest rip off... I had to cancel an appointment as a first time customer and its a 24 hour cancel policy, I understand that... I called 22 hours before my apt because it was a holiday Thanksgiving week so I was unable to call 48 hours prior because they were closed.... They charged my card $155.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in shock. when I called and spoke to the "owner" who stated she had been there for 35 years she was rude and said sorry we charged for the services, like are you kidding me I didn’t get any services??????? as a first time customer I would have thought they would give me a courtesy because they would want the business but she didn’t seem to care!! I will dispute with credit card company but the hassle and the money is so not worth it besides the fact that I heard the place is just so so.. , and she told me she was unable to fill that appt which was lie because I also called Friday mid afternoon and asked for an apt for my time frame and they said it was booked!!! LIESSS RIPP OFFFFF and the service isn’t great

The girls that work here are VERY pleasant. Georgia is super lady! Received email blast adverstising a Buy one get one free so I bought the Pedicure package ~ $20 with Anna. Greeted nicely, sat down and the chair did go back or recline. Hello service the chair :( the pedicure was ok; expected more for a SALON/SPA. The drying system is primitive, really the whole pedi/mani area is - totally 80's.

I absolutely love Christine Valmy! I have been to numerous day spas and always find myself returning here. Nancy is the absolute best at waxing. She has been doing my eyebrows for almost 2 years now and they've never looked better! I am always getting compliments on them. The customer service is very good as well. Sherwonda (? excuse the spelling) at the front desk is fantastic! She is a great example of how customer service should be. (Much superior than The Fountain) It is definitely clear that the owner of the spa is actively involved and cares about her place. She is ALWAYS having really great specials, which is important during this economy. They send out birthday coupons and always monthly coupons that are so worth it. I highly recommend this spa, especially for waxing services.
