Chit Chat Diner

Really whimsically decorated, unique diner. They serve hash browns instead of home fries with breakfast which is awesome. There's a box of conversation-starting cards on every table that are actually fun. And their desserts are so beautiful. I'd say it's one of the nicest diners in Bergen County.

Friends and I have been going to Chit Chat for many years and have gotten to know the staff as much as they've gotten to know us (in and out of the place).

We walk in and are greeted with friendly faces and (most of the time) catch up on things, joke around, etc... All while our food is most likely already being prepared due to us usually having "the usual" even though we've tried just about everything on the manu at some point or another.

My experience here has never been a disappointing one, whether it's the food or staff. Take out, delivery or when we decide to stay... Doesn't matter, it's always a good time/food.

I am a frequent diner at Chit Chat. They are getting 4 stars due to the fact that they are open 24 hours and serve very delicious food. Now that's said, onto the negatives. 1 they are very expensive for a diner. 2 their portion size is very small.. many sandwiches are very small inside with mostly bread. I paid for extra onions and they barely put any on..

Lovely atmosphere, quick service, and friendly staff. Prices were a bit more than other diners in the area but the portions were quite large.

The best place to get high quality food at anytime of the day. The only people to bad mouth this restaurant is other restutants because of jealousy. This place is always packed but you will never have to wait for a seat or a waiter. Excellent staff and excellent food.
