Children's Home Montessori School

Awful experience trying to register my daughter for elementary school. The administration system is unprofessional and discriminative, we heard similar stories from other parents. not recommended.

My daughter attended this school briefly from January to the late summer and we were extremely disappointed and shocked. A simple inquiry about how my child's day had gone to her teachers was not responded because it was school policy to only talk to the parents at the two parent teacher meetings they had a year. After a few consecutive days of my 3 year old coming home crying that they had hit her at school I asked the teachers what had happened and what was going on to which they answered that my child was a liar and that she had told them she was "punched" at home. (a word my baby did not even know) The next day we were promptly told the school was not the right fit for us and let go. I know the Montessori system works unfortunately this particular one seems to have a laundry list of flaws. We stayed and endured the closed door policy because we trusted that the system worked and that it was a reputable school, however the possibility of corporal punishment on a child that had just turned three was too much and as a parent I suggest you look elsewhere for your child.

My son went to this school and came home everyday with a dirty diaper. Montissori school thought that at age three a child should be able to sit all day and listen and be able to write their name. The school is way too strict for a three year old to attend. The school excpects every child to be the same and every child is different. Very disappointed in this school and the teachers.
