- Poor #58834
- Delivery of our order took an hour and 45 minutes. - Fries were overcooked and stiff, along with the skin of the chicken, which was tough and hard like plastic. Coleslaw was decent, but no point in eating a side dish solo. Hot rolls were cold. - The cranberry sauce we ordered was not included. - The hot rolls, coleslaw, and value-brand ginger-ale were the only edible parts of the meal. We ended up throwing $40 worth of food in the garbage. Disappointed and feeling let down, we went to talk to the manager to get a refund the next day. Upon entering Chicken Galore, we approached the counter and asked to speak to the manager. There were a couple of guys hanging around behind the counter. We were greeted by Bobby, who told us that he was the manager. We told Bobby that we ordered the family special #2 and 2 ginger ales and were disappointed in how the chicken and fries turned out. We asked if we could get a refund, and he told us that it was impossible. We asked for some sort of compensation, and he said, "So what do you want? More chicken?" We were wondering why he offered us chicken without hearing our story and continued explaining what happened. We told him the chicken and fries were bad, and he asked us to tell him exactly what was wrong with it. He kept insisting that we should have called the night before, and said that it doesn't make any sense that we didn't call right away if the food was bad. Feeling puzzled and intimidated by his tone, we tried to describe that the fries were stiff. He then asked us if we also threw out the coleslaw. We said yes, and then he said it doesn't make sense that we threw out perfectly good coleslaw, and rejected our comments about the quality of the chicken and fries. In the end, he thought our story was foolish and withdrew his offer to compensate us with more chicken. We felt there was no point continuing the conversation, wished him a good day, and left.
