DON'T USE THEM. Location is horrible; service is horrible; place is horrible. They get you in with a low rate, and raise it often until it's very very expensive. Then you have to pay a lot to get your stuff out of there. Keep your stuff closer; send it out of town, which is at least cheaper; or give it to Goodwill and take a deduction.

This business is incompetent and unprofessional. For at least 1 1/2 years they have been sending bills to my address which belong to an (ex)-friend who was staying with me for several weeks over 2 years ago (I had to finally throw her out). She had given my contact information to them without my knowledge. Every time, I sent back the letters unopened, marked "UNKNOWN." They continued to send the bills and I continued to send them back, now using a large red marker and adding "STOP SENDING." This morning I was awakened by a phone call from these people at 5 AM!!! When I asked for the name of the CEO, in order to file a complaint, the employee responded "You can't be serious." Very unprofessional, not to mention totally incompetent.

Moved some belongings in to Chelsea Mini Storage, and was incredibly impressed with the helpfulness, friendliness and service we received. Really really impressed and would recommend to anyone!

Not only are these people extremely unprofessional they will steal your money as well! I stored my store here while transitioning to a new apartment- and made sure I kept the room clean and paid on time. According to their hours they close at 8pm- the day I was suppose to vacate (I had a handful of items, including a mattress and a glass mirror) I arrived from work 7.30 sharp and was told that I would be unable to remove my things as they close at 8. If this is so then their hours should read that they're open until 7.30 pm and not 8. After arguing with him for 15 minutes to let me get my stuff he finally agreed. I ended up getting out of there at exactly 8:02 at which point I was beraded by the staff saying "they don't get paid overtime" and that's putting what they said mildy. Fast foward 3 months later after continous calls to get my security deposit back to no avail- they continually hung up on me or put me on hold for an hour. I was told that they were not giving it to me because they received a fine from the sanitation department and they're employees claimed that I had left tons of garbage outside they're building and that they had it on tape. How ironic that what they didn't see on tape was their employees berating me and that I left my stuff on the corner and returned 20 minutes later to put the rest of it in my car. So of all the tenants that probably moved out that day somehow I am the only possible person that would have left garbage (tons according to the manager) in front of their building. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want to be stolen from.

These guys are amaaaazing!! The service was superb (literally couldn't have asked for a more helpful, pleasant, and professional staff). They went above and beyond my expectations and made my move extremely easy. As for the facility, it is clean, secure, and in a very decent area of Manhattan. This place comes highly recommended!
