Very authentic experience. Small space and gets crowded, so be sure to go early or expect a wait! Very plesant staff. Delicious drinks (if they still have the orange margarita special, order it!) and great food! Can't wait to go back

Amazing food. My first experience to Mexican food. Cozy and good service.

Great Quentin Tarantino-like atmosphere, great food and consistent great service. The music is also relaxing and different. This place is definitely a repeat offender.

Try the Carne Enchilada tacos; pork and pineapple-enough said. I had the best michelada I've had outside of Mexico at Chavela's. They have an extensive brunch menu with mexican fare as well as a great deal of mezcal and tequila.

The inside is a lot of fun and is just a cozy place to spend time.

We stated the evening with sangria. One glad of red, one of white. I'd say the red had a better taste. Both drinks were surprisingly strong.

For an appetizer we ordered a shrimp dish. The shrimp were a nice size and the sauce they're red served in was delicious. My dining partner remarked that the sauce would've been great if paired with mussels. The bread was nice and perfectly absorbed the sauce. Strangely the dish is served with five shrimp, which means someone is getting three and the other person has to settle for two.

Both my dining companion and I ordered a pork taco and beef taco. Both tacos were delicious. The pork taco was served with diced pineapple and the meat had a nice amount of spicy heat. The beef was tender, juicy, and flavorful.

For dessert we had churros, decried with a chocolate dipping sauce. It was "ok." I suggested to my dining companion that the dish would be better if they included two or three whole strawberries to balance out the flavor. I wouldn't order it again... unless it came with strawberries.

We both agreed that we'd like to dine here again.
