Best in Sunset! My entire family swears by it and I am never disappointed with my pizza. Oh and they also make my favorite garlic knots in town. I have been eating Charlie's since I was a kid and crave it, when I am away.

Well at least the mango margarita was good. The burro grande was mediocre at best. The chicken inside was not tender at all! My "lettuce" was yellowish-brown, I don't know why they even bothered to put it on my plate. Don't bother checking in for the flan. It was the worst I've ever had! The top and bottom were hard and had a burnt taste to it. The overall color was also much darker than it should of been. I definitely won't go back. I've had much better Mexican food from food trucks in Williamsburg!

Just ordered a large pie extra sauce extra cheese well done. Dang! It was terrible! The sauce was like water and pinkish in color. Cheese was all on the side of the box like if the delivery guy held it under his arms. This is not New York Pizza! Shame on you Charles Pizzeria. That will be the first & last 17 bucks you get from this New Yorker!

Best pizza in sunset park been going there since I was a kid. The sauce has changed a bit not as tart and sweet as it used to be two decades back. I am grateful to always catch a fresh pie coming out of the oven, and being served two fresh slices all the time. And owners are really compliant they take out a fresh pie if there is only one slice out that has been there for a while. There is a high turnover, cause the pizza is adored by all. Just wish they can start making fresh mozzarella pies. That would be awesome!
