Helped build it in early 90's......it is an entirely new building including the foundation. In order to build it they had to drain the lake. When i got to the job the lake was still empty & the foundation and walls were up. I got to work on the roof...the outside beam work...the windows/doors & the interior. Two guys that were on the job from the start told me how they drained it and also about the huge fish that the Parks Dept. & the DEC removed from the lake. I was there at the end when we finished building it & I watched them refill the lake & restock it with brown & rainbow trout. The building was well planned and designed to last a very long time! I enjoyed working on it....being a union carpenter in nyc...you don't get alot of chances to do this type of beam work.
