I have visited and ordered out many times in the three years, but was shocked to find a dead maggot in my daughter's chicken dish last evening. I will NEVER EAT THERE OR ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN...EVER. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I have brought people from out of town to eat there -- even for breakfast. I never imagined a dead maggot - in Spanish - "un gusano." We had to throw out our fish dish and the chicken dish. I am on my way there tonight to bring them the aluminum take out container that has the dead maggot inside. YUCK.

Our family has visited here several times and as of late I have even ordered take out, everyone is very polite and the food was extremely good. I always want to come back for more. I highly recommend Caridad Restaurant in Woodhaven.

On Sunday, May 11, 2014 my husband took me to Caridad restaurant in Jamaica, Queens. The place was full but we found a table right away. The three waitresses were busy but very efficiently taking care of all the customers. The cooks were on a cooking marathon.The food was better than great. We had rice with peas, roast pork, baked pork chops, broccoli, and tostones. Everything was super delicious. The price was under thirty dollars. We left satisfied and with a gift for me. We had a great experience there, on Mother's Day 2014. We have always loved Caridad restaurant in Jamaica, Queens.
