This is a consistent, reasonably priced, decent restaurant that has stood the test of time in this neighborhood.
The team that works here works hard and turns tables. The service is fast and efficient. The food is always the same. Not the most delicious thing I ever had in my life, but it hits the spot. There is usually a line. It would not be my first choice or even my fifth choice of places to eat in the neighborhood, but if you want a no frills, fast meal, this is the spot

Come for the pancakes. They're not exactly healthy (soaked in butter and more cake than pancake), but damn they're delicious.
Gets crowded for brunch, so come early or expect a wait (and sadly, mostly inattentive service).

Wonderful brunch spot in Brooklyn. Lot's of seating and a large seating area outside which is great in the summer. Waits can be expected for a table on weekends for brunch but the lines are managed well and go quickly. They are known here for their pancakes but it's their spin on the pancake. It's almost like a cake. Thick, very fluffy, and crispy on the outside and it goes well with the maple syrups. It almost comes across like a dessert. Very tasty. We also had the eggs benedict. Poached eggs were cooked up nicely with a toasted english muffin. The sauce really made the dish. Wonderful fresh hot coffee and nice service. Great spot for brunch on weekends in Park slope. Outside seating really makes for great brunch's on a nice summer's day.

We went with party of 4 for Sunday brunch. Place was busy but we got our tables quick. Tried their Monday special , corn eggs gucamole( good wholesome plate) also their omelette are decent, they did forget out chocolate chip pancakes with the order but got them out fast later (can use more fruit as the pancakes are big) will go back .

The place was busy when we went for brunch. It was so crowded and tight the waiter had to pull our table out to seat us and push it back in. There is no A/C so on a hot day, the diner will be very warm. Food was decent, quiches were large slices, fruit pancakes were good- the pancakes themselves were excellent, the fruit was skimpy though, just 1/3rd a banana and half a strawberry, we were expecting something a bit more for the price, perhaps the kitchen was running low. The service is the low point of this establishment and the reason we probably won't be back- don't expect refills on water or coffee. It took a long time from when we sat down to place our food order and another long wait for the check. We asked about specific cocktails we were interested in and the waiters' response was "I don't know, read the menu" then walked away.
