Bungalo Lounge Bar

I went there last night 8/6/16 and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Firstly I have been to 50+ lounges and nightclubs across New York City and never has this happened to me and my friends. I called the place at 5pm and asked if there was going to be a cover charge which the guy on the phone said no. I got to the place with my friends and was suddenly told that I had to pay a $10 cover charge since it was after 11:30pm (idk why the guy did not tell me this on the phone). With the $10 ticket your supposed to be able to get any drink up to $15. When I asked for a long island iced tea which was $15 the bartender said I have to pick something less than $10. I still tried to have a good time with friends so we ordered a blue mist hookah. The guy said it was $30 even though the only hookah on the menu that is that price is the bungalo special which is not blue mist. We end up paying $35 since we were paying with a card. We smoked it for 30 minutes and needed new coal, but the guy told me that the owner said he is only allowed to do hookah refills and not coal refills...what? It gets worse. I asked to speak to a manager and waited for an HOUR and no manager came. Then the guy took our hookah and walked away with it without saying a word to us...WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. First and last time I will ever go to this establishment.

Very friendly staff, tasty food with amazing good music. Had a great time.
