Had thanksgiving dinner here. While expensive (150/head) the meal was great with excellent steaks. Extensive wine menu

I don't know how a restaurant can charge prices like this, and offer service that slow, with a straight face. The service was appalling, and it's the most I've ever spent on a meal in my life. If you're rich, then maybe you should consider this a 3 star review. I'm not, so I considered it extremely bad value for money. The steak was good, but nothing else we had was all that great. Shocking, when the bill for two people was $266 including tips and tax. That didn't even include dessert! This, by the way, is a new listing they seem to have created since the other one had so many bad reviews. Nice try!

My party of 4 was very disappointed. NY is full of great steakhouses, we went to the Bull And Bear Prime Steakhouse for the service and we definitely didn't get it. Food with no drinks, bad glass of wine, and a waiter who seemed to preoccupied and had no desire to be our server, The place wasn't that busy either.
For the money I could gone anywhere, I went for the service and was very disappointed

After a long day of touring this was kind of a last resort. We should have gone to bed hungry. First they didn't want to seat us. Maitra d (Yes I know the word and what it means) was rude even when I told him we were hotel guests (two room). Then we ate from a poor menu of overpriced food that was only marginal. $10.00 for a bee is high even by NYC standards. On top of that they added 18% gratuity to a party of two. What an insult! Judging that I wouldn't leave a tip just showed how little they know. Would have left more because of manners. Will NEVER go back. STAY AWAY!

There are many over rated steakhouses in the world, but this one takes the cake. You start off with a decent buttermilk biscuit that you need an electron microscope to see. Most premier steakhouses will provide an assortment of breads and spreads. They serve premium wine at room temperature, overcharge on incorrectly cooked meat that tastes like a Walmart bought steak, and finish it off with very blah dessert. For these prices you expect much much more. Only reason 2 stars instead of 1 is the kind and attentive service. This is a definite PASS
