The staff and was very welcoming and friendly and procedure was explained to me very throughly. This is definitely going to be my new primary dentist.

The services were poor starting with a root canal. The dentist missed the nerve and numbed my eye - started work on the raw nerve.
I was called in by Dr. Herskovits to complete the crown and was told I had no insurance left and I needed to pay for this in cash. I am very admit about following my benefits and what I have remaining - After some back and forth the Dr himself got defensive and nasty with me. He is unprofessional to say the least.
I recognize everyone's experience is different - be sure to keep track of your benefits is all I will say.

Long story short my daughter and I went to get seen for a clean up. Waited almost 2 hours no one else was there. My daughter "clean up" was 2 min. Nothing was done waist of visit on my insurance. He just put cherry flavor on her teeth and said she done. I then got a "clean up" in 7 minutes. Never had a clean up that fast nothing compared to our past clean ups we had received in NJ and GA.

I went in to Brooklyn smile saying to myself this tooth needs to come out it looks ugly and half of it was missing. the doctors told me that based on the x-rays it looks like we could save it. when he first looked in mouth he said that doesn't look to good,but I'll try my best. 45 min - 1hr i was out of there with a smile on my face. he did a root canal and give me a temp. filling with and appt to return in one week (with minimal pain) nothing Advil or some other over the counter pain meds won't to care of. Over all i felt they did a great job. By the way did I mention all without an appt.

Great experience! The dentist is very friendly, professional and NON-JUDGMENTAL; his staff equally so. The office is so clean, comfortable and full of state-of-the-art equipment and expertise. I was in and out in no time, and pleasantly surprised my visit was %100 covered by insurance. It will certainly not be another 8 years until I see a dentist. Bringing my smile to Brooklyn Smiles from now on.
