Used to love going when they first opened. It's so charming inside. The service is always sooooo slow. It's like they're always understaffed. I only get stuff to go now which still takes a lot of time. Their homemade peanut butter on a scoop of chocolate is my go-to.

Cute old-school style soda fountain with retro decorations. The food is pretty good, the sundaes are huge, but it's all overpriced for what you get - for the prices you might expect truly local, organic, artisinal ingredients. Unfortunately, that's not really what you get.
The sandwiches are $8-12, and are sized like they should be $6-8. The sundaes are ginormous, and relatively generous with toppings, but at $10 for a "half" and $15-18 for a "full" they ought to be.
The service is also a bit slow, and they're oddly inflexible - my wife asked if instead of a single large scoop of vanilla if they could instead give her two half-scoops of vanilla and chocolate, and was told flat-out no.
Overall it was fun to go once, but I don't really want to go back again, which is a shame. It has a lot of charm and personality in the design and menu but isn't really worth it in the end.

Woah - these places still exist? Where are my suspenders and newsie hats?
After a beautiful stroll at the Brooklyn Flea, my friends and I decided to continue our antique-y Saturday with a few floats from Brooklyn Farmacy. We were certainly happy to enjoy the beautiful weather by satisfying our sweet tooths.
I ordered the Orangenius (orange soda with vanilla ice cream) and wound up devouring the whole thing before realizing I'm lactose intolerant (and a masochist). It hurts so good.
I didn't try their actual food, but I would come here again just to see what the other 14 famous combinations would taste like. The ice cream is slightly frozen with a very large scoop hanging off the side of the old-school milk-shake glass. The sodas and ice cream are local and absolutely fantastic.
Service was exceptional. Our waitress mixed up giving the order to the wrong person, but let us keep it and just gave us another one. I wound up eating half of the coffee ice cream with caramel syrup and vanilla cream soda (which was also amazing).
Verdict: Certainly worth the trip on the G/F train and an excellent place to stop by on a date. I'll be here again once the weather warms up.

Amazing and home-y place with a cool 1920's feel. They serve hands down the best array of sundaes and selection. Food is pretty good too, I'd recommend the macaroni and cheese with ham and the Affugazi Afogato sundae. Both to die for.

My ice cream cone from Molly Moon's looked so good that at least three strangers walking by took the time to stop and ask me and my friends where we got the ice cream.
I have never had a flavor here that was no admirable, but what I love about Molly Moon's is the artisan flavor choices more similar to what you'd expect from in: vender, Earl Gray, Strawberry Sorbet. And every one of them is spectacular. My personal favorite is the Earl Grey--the flavor is like biting into an Earl Grey cookie. Sweet and soft and delicate with and a hint of vanilla all stacked into a gorgeously creamy dessert.
