Brooklyn Bridge Park

As urban parks go, this one, while very sterile looking, is pretty nice. Good amenities. River view. Well maintained courts. WEll lit.

Some of the signage was a little confusing at first. Closeby are places where you can cook out and have a picnic.

Unter the Brooklyn Bridge this amazing park has a really nice view from manhattan and this is a good start point to your Bridge walk.

My favorite park in Brooklyn/New York! It's probably the last place that I should rate but it is a great place for photos with family, friends, or a date. It's not a crowded park. You can work out or have a picnic with views of Manhattan in between the Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. A must see if you visit New York. PLEASE do not visit all at once. This place is great because it isn't a main attraction.

Thought I should update this review. My fiancé proposed to me here. And while we tried to take our own photos we spotted 3 other couples taking anniversary photos nearby. Great park for families, and friends.

If you worried that this would be a backyard for the well heeled denizens of Brooklyn Heights rest assured, this park has become a magnet for residents from all over the borough and tourists from all over the world. It's easy to understand why, this park blends rugged wetlands, first rate athletic facilities, concerts and services all with commanding views. The condos at the north end of the park are ugly but oh well, you'll spend most of your time looking at Manhattan anyway.

Try not to drive here, and you will have fun, see more and even exercise a bit. Since looking for parking here can take more than the whole visit to the park.
Maybe one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn, and one of the best views on NYC. Stress and running in the horizon of NYC, and stress and running at the back of Brooklyn, and sitting here in between can really make me relax. They do a lot of construction here, and on the weekend the whole area is full of happening ;)
There is a lot to do, so get ready for fun ;)
