Whenever I go or call in advance, I always have the attention I needed. We (wife & me) had an excellent attention from the employees, sometimes takes a little bit more time early in the morning (6am), but its because there is a lot of people who want to go to work & are late, but don't have respect & jump in front of you, but if you tell the counter girl you was the next person in line she attends you first (that's all) & the most important is that the food is AMAZING!!!

Had an unfortunate moment this morning. The latina counter girl at the Broadway Cafe & Pastry shop on Palisade Ave in Englewood pointedly ignored my friend to wait on a latina guy who came in after us. My friend walked out, when I asked the counter girl, she sucked her teeth and then pointedly ignored me. I guess black folk's money doesn't count at this particular shop. Won't bother going in again.
