Went there with my family and a friend. Their food is not good. We had vindaloo and it was freakingly spicy. I am used to eating that but this one was the worst one. Even the goan curry had no business being named that. Chicken was tough cubes that were cooked well before. On top of that, the food was 50% overpriced.
This was our first time their and we have decided not to return. There are so many restaurants that are better than this.
I generally don't write reviews but people should know about this.

My go-to Indian place. The lunch menu here is unique to this location (the one in Ridgewood doesn't do the same lunch menu). You get curry, rice, naan, lentils, and rice pudding all for $12. Amazing food and amazing lunch deal. The Lassuni-Gobi is great too. I never knew cauliflower could taste that good!

Quaint fake Indian food place with the staple Indian dishes for non-Indians. Go-to Jersey City for real Indian food.

This is my go- to place for Indian food in Montclair..... and I looooooove Indian food. Great Indian fare with a bit of a modern twist. The food is so fresh, tastes are bright, sauces delicious. One surprise is the pakora: delicious ( especially with the sauces) but more bready than the crispy version most of us are used to. One word of caution: hot really means HOT here!
