this place deserves more love than it has gotten. Friendliest owners - a great great fantastic space with kick-ass 60s furniture- and great drinks.Did i mention funky music?
it is close to the WS highway - but so are many other bars.
really, one of those delicious NYC finds - that you both hope remain a secret but , also, hope they are discovered so they exist forever.

Awesome Ipswich clams (dangerously delicious) and the best lobster roll anywhere.

Bongo has a really friendly, comfortable, unpretentious vibe. They offer a nearly unending offering of inventive cocktails from the bar. I think I have tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed by a single item. It's also a great place to give a party! Go, you'll love it!
