An environmental atrocity - The food was decent, although quite time intensive to put it all together. My biggest problem was the incredible amount of trash and waste that was created. The negative impact this has on the environment is nothing short of epic. First of all, the food travels many miles via delivery trucks to get to our house (CO2 impact). Next, the level of packaging is tremendous! Large boxes, big box liners, and at least 6 or so ice packs per box. The ice packs are plastic and filled with cooling gel. All of this for some marginal vegetarian sushi. I seriously felt awful just after two meals, when I then had to fill my entire trash/recycling can as a result. We canceled right after that. Please consider the impact on the environment before engaging, because it is major.
