Blow-Out hair bar & beauty lounge

I came in early on a Sunday morning. I had called Saturday and was able to make an appointment for the next day at 11. I have curly, unruly hair and was headed to a wedding Sunday afternoon and had an international flight to go abroad to Belgium on Monday evening... so I asked her to blow out my hair in a way that was loose, big curls for the wedding and would fall nicely over the flight.

Service was great. The receptionist was taking care of some personal business when I arrived, but she was apologetic about it. I was washed and settled in with my stylist. I asked for a coffee, but they also offered me a mimosa. I wish I had caught the name of my stylist, but she didn't introduce herself... but WOW.

Here is where the five stars REALLY comes in... due to the ISIS attacks in Brussels, I wore my blowout for five straight days -- the wedding, an international flight, a terrorist attack, and three days of active traveling to get to our flight home. From Sunday morning to Thursday night and across two continents and 4 countries, it held beautifully.

BEAUTIFULLY.

That's right. A 5 day long blowout. This will be my go-to. I'll have to ask next time I go to see her again, I hope it's in their system.

This place is pretty cool and they give a great cut. Did I mention a mimosa or scotch following a hair wash and then your cut at a price point that is competitive

This salon is located right next to the Grove St. Path Station. I have super thick, long complicated and curly hair and I thought the stylist handled it expertly. I love the decor in this place and enjoyed my visit. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!
