Good service with a smile. Amazing flavours with the dishes we had. Enjoyed the duck and short ribs. Both were great but of the two the combination of flavours with the duck was best. It was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and the rutabaga was a pleasant addition.

Farm to table is a trend these days and Blenheim doesn't disappoint with the quality of the ingredients. The dishes are a little forgettable, but that's a risk when the ingredients should be the star of the show. There are better restaurants in the same category, but they are more expensive.

Prototypical farm-to-table has an interesting story --- successful husband-and-wife entrepreneurs and self-trained farmers start a passion project -- but falls short by delivering blandly seasoned vegetables that lack character. Think of a restaurant with the ambition to match Blue Hill, including owning its own farm, but amateurish delivery and you've nailed Blenheim. Sparse asparagus-on-a-plate that is soggy and tasteless. There are a few good entrees like spicy Berkshire pork but none of them have anything to do with New York State cuisine. The NYT review hit this one on the head.

Blenheim is a lovely treat - our new fave neighborhood restaurant outside our neighborhood. On a lovely corner in the West Village, Blenheim is beautiful and cozy, and serves delicious food from a creative menu of just what you feel like eating. We've been there for both lunch and dinner and found the staff to be attentive and friendly and everything to be consistently good and well-presented. I highly recommend it.

Sooooo expensive and the food was incredibly mediocre. You're better off spending this kind of money elsewhere. We did a prix-fixe with wine pairing and they were out of some of the items. Told us after we ordered.
