Amazing pizza at a great price! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out.

I work right around the corner and come here often for lunch or for a slice at the end of the day. Good, honest pizza. Friendly service and great prices ($1.50/slice, $13 for a large pie). Moe and co. are great!

Love the food calzone was amazing

One of the best pizzas that I've had in NYC. It was for early-ish on a December Sunday, so the 4 pizzas and $4-worth of garlic knots (16 pieces) were all made fresh-fresh: I saw the pizzaiolo stretching the dough, spreading the sauce and sliding it into the oven. Tender bread and crust, with depth of flavour, precisely placed toppings (we got a veggie pizza, a pepperoni, a meat lovers and a plain), perfect balance between cheese and savory sauce. All of us were surprised at just how good the pizza was. Even cold, 3 hours later.
The guys who run the shop are down-home, kind, helpful and take pride in their joint. They even decorated the tables in Big Daddy's Pizza with coins of various locations to which they travelled, arranged in shapes symbolic of their Red Hook neighbourhood.
Big, hearty YES to this place.
