- Poor #84005
Pros-
-rooms were cool all night long which was nice after walking all day.
-I was able to book a room with only having a twenty minute notice I was going to the hotel.
- Checking in was easy and the valet parked my car for me.
- the house keepers were friendly and gave me little tips for being a tourist.

Cons- The shuttle had no AC and I was only in it for 5 minutes tops. I thought I was going to pass out. I was dropped of at Penn Station and ended up getting violently ill that while waiting on an Amtrak.

- While checking out the reception guy was playing on his phone and ignored me for the first few minutes and then was like I am sorry I was watching a video. I was like, are you getting paid to watch a video or check me out......

All together I enjoyed the hotel but the shuttle ruined my entire trip. I had to take a cab throughout the sites because I felt to ill to walk around NYC. Imagine that its your first time in NYC and you want to go to the Empire State Building,Time Square, Statue of liberty.. but you got to sick to do all these things because a hotel was to cheap to fix the AC. ...

Rooms are what you would expect from a best Western plus, maybe a bit older than usual but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful, free wifi seemed faster than usual at hotels, but parking is awful. My first night I parked in the lot behind the hotel as instructed by the desk clerk and came out the next morning to find the staff had parked two rows of cars in behind my spot. It took the attendants almost 20 minutes to get my car out for me and I was late for my meeting. I would have gone down earlier but there was absolutely no indication that they would be blocking cars in. I understand there is limited parking but they should have said something.

I stayed at the Best Western with my girlfriend over the weekend to attend a Boyz 2 Men Concert which by the way is conveniently located right across the street. The staff was very professional & friendly. The hotel itself looked cleaned & modern & very quiet, not to mention that it was affordable. We came across an elevator issue. But, that got fixed pretty quickly. Overall, I had a good experience.

Immediate check-in...in under 1 minute. Same with check out. Awesome breakfast with hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes made to order, sausage/egg/cheese muffins, bagels, english muffins, muffins, bread, pastries, juice, fruit, cereal, coffee, cafe latte, cappucino, fruit water, and more. Clothes washer and dryer on 3rd floor. Modern decor. 15 floors. Free parking, free WiFi, business center with 1 new computer and printer, fitness center, flat screen TV'S in room, refigerator, coffee maker, and more. They have cell phone charging stations at breakfast tables.

You get what you pay for. Although great for its location (30 mins away from New York, 10 from the Prudential Center), the hotel is a bit shabby. Slow, always full elevators and the stairs are strangely located outside from the main lobby. Terrible breakfast selection. But it does the job.

Employees, whether it's desk attendants or parking people are nice, polite and professional.
