Best Western PLUS Newark Airport West

We really like the price and the convenience of this hotel but what I don't like is that when I call to speak to the GM twice and he didn't call back. My complaint is that I contracted bed bugs all over my arm my wrist my head and under my chin. I think this was disgusting . I had to go to my physician because I couldn't stop scratching. The next day my arm is swollen and completely red.

My husband and I passed through here on our way to New York to catch a cruise. The staff was excellent and the location couldn't be better. Though we stayed in the ritzy-est hotel in Houston the night before and it would seem hard to compare, this hotel and it's staff really blessed us as we prepped for our honeymoon cruise!

We had a billing accident via a travel agency website at no fault to this hotel at all... we were really stressed that the hotel might not be understanding of the mistake.

Instead, they were extremely nice and did the ethical thing when they legally didn't need to. They even went above and beyond and helped walk us through the procedures as well.

I've heard from friends this is a great place to stay if you ever need to be by the airport. Though I usually don't need to stay by the airport when I travel into NY via Newark, I honestly might make an effort to now and give them my business just because of how well they treated me when we got struck by some bad luck!

The location is was very easy to locate, without stuck in the long Newark traffic. The staff I interacted with was also very helpful. She gave me enough detail to help me with my room and also wifi information. When I was having problem connecting to the wifi she personally helped me connect in my phone. I the shuttle to the airport was also helpful.

I really liked the hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle drivers were so funny and friendly I enjoyed my alot Jose' was the coolest. The only thing I had trouble with was making sure I was back on time to catch the last shuttle back to the hotel when I got off my stop to soon on the subway. Over it was GREAT!! The feont desk clerks were extremely patient and kind. And helpful.
