Best Tile Keyport

The customer service here is excellent. I was purchasing floor tile from the discount room in the back (which has some beautiful options at reasonable prices), and the employees provided so much time, feedback, and assistance that I felt like it was a steal. I went back a second time for wall tile and, again, I was treated in such a helpful manner - picking out multiple samples, helping me compare with the floor, and showing me pictures of different styles - that I know they will be my first stop for any future tile purchases. I highly recommend the store for its selection and the attention to detail that its employees demonstrate.

After being referred to Best Tile, had to the pleasure of working with a very knowledgeable staff. After revising the plans a few times, Nanci gave excellent suggestions and the very reasonably priced. They delivered on time and the install was done to plans. My fireplace and powder room look wonderful! Would recommend you stopping by before going any where else.

This store was recommended by our contractor, and we found they do have a good selection of tile. We found what we were looking for. Unfortunately I deducted 1 star for the "discount" we received, and 2 stars for their poor return policy. We expected a fair discount given that our builder sends business their way, and they were supposed to bill him directly. Instead they gave us a "coupon" discount that you could find on some restaurant's place-mat. We purchased the tile in August and September, and now it's November and they now have a general "sale" that's better than the discount we received.

Second, we were told that we could return unused tile if in an unopened box. Due to our builder being ill for several weeks, the work in our bathroom was delayed about a month. It's now about two months since we purchased the tile, and today I lugged a heavy unopened box of extra floor tile. The saleswoman was adamant that they only accept returns if within a 30 day period. I told her that nobody told us this policy even after I asked about returns. She pointed to the back of the sales receipt where in very small print it states the 30 day policy. She said the reason was because of dye lots. At the time I was trying to return these tiles, they were selling the IDENTICAL tile to another customer ... there was no difference in the tile they were selling and the tile I was trying to return. Mentioning this made no impression on the saleswoman. So, now I lugged a very heavy box of tiles home. I could press the issue since they really should have mentioned this policy when specifically asked about returns. We would have delayed the purchase if Best Tile told us their policy.

So, bottom line - good selection - so-so prices (you might want to find out when they're having a sale) - and a TERRIBLE return policy.

After several trips to Best Tile showroom, we finally decided on the tile for our backsplash and Carla was very patient and helpful each time...the design we originally planned on, needed a 3X5 tile over the stove for which we needed to order 3 boxes of...but at the last moment we found a decorative smaller glass tile to use in place of the 3X5 tile but still wanted to use the 3X5 tile as a border around the smaller tile, but neither one of us thought to reduce the amount of the larger tile no longer needed and we ended up only using 10 3X5 glass tiles. We tried to return the 2 unopened BOXES since it was a miscalculation on their part, but Best Tile would not take them back...so we are stuck with 30 tiles. We were willing to pay a re-stock fee...but they wouldn't budge... Not good business.

Great clearance section, Great service! Highly recommend, quality and prices beat big box stores.
