The store is a mess. Checkout is slow. Things are mispriced and In the wrong location.

I didn't have any issues when picking up my item at this store on the same day. Confirmation on Pickup was quick and off I went to get it. I had to wait for awhile though for someone to bring over my item, but not a big deal.

This best buy location is of reasonable size, to where you can find anything on your own but I will admit that the customer service is not the best but I will not take the credit away from the workers who do try to give good customer service.

On Sunday September 27th I entered a Bestbuy and the sale of a combo washer dryer that was on sale caught my eye. I decided that the purchase would make a great gift and surprise to my family as it was time to get rid of our way past its time unit. So I came back to the Union, NJ store on Route 22 the following Wednesday ready to make a deal. Walked into the store at exactly 9:10am and after 10min in appliance I was finally greeted by someone who asked if I needed help. Then asked me to wait while he went to look for someone else. 30min later I was greeted by Patricia (From mobile dept) who said she was not from that department but would help me. I explained what I wanted and asked how best to go about my making my purchase. Not much information was given to me more than just saying the price was the price. I Asked if I got the store credit card if that wouldn't save me any money? To which she replied "Oh... yeah if you'd like you can try? Come to find out I was actually receiving a 10% discount by using the card!! While finally at the appliance counter a second employee began gossiping about how the person who was supposed to be in the department was a "no call, no show. I asked Patricia about stacking the units in my home and she said the installation team would take care of it. Asked about the extended warranty program and was told that the electronics panel on the machines would not be covered. Asked if there was anything else I needed to do and was told no that I was all set. Paid using the store credit account and was told I would recieve a call Tuesday for a Wednesday delivery.
> The day of delivery I received a call from the delivery team informing me they were ahead of schedule and would arrive in 30min. I wanted to make sure they were carefull in placing the machines as the would be stacked in the laundry room. They replied, "Stacked?, we do not have orders to stack your machines nor do we have the stacking kit required to do so, you will have to reschedule the delivery."
> Angry with the issue I headed to the Bestbuy in Bridgewater, NJ and asked for help from the reps In appliances who were glad to help but could not assist because they needed to wait for the cacellation of delivery to complete. Was told to contact the store where I bought the product and have them resolve the issue. After contacting them now Thursday I was told that I would need to buy the stacking kit and have it for when the rede livery occurred. They were unable to locate a stacking kit and I was forced to pick one up at a location over 45min away in east Brunswick. Cheryl was the person taking care of me this time. But she should have been the 1st. I explained my story now fuming mad and she looked at my order. She supplied me with the stacking kit I needed and went a step further to ask If I needed a extended warranty, I told her no because Patricia in Union said that it wouldn't really cover what I needed. She apologized and explained that Patricia was wrong for saying that and that it would cover everything for 5years!!!
> I wound up buying the warranty and had Cheryl call to verify that my delivery would be installed without incident. Cheryl added the extended warranty to my machines got me the stacking kit I needed and made sure that I was aware of all the issues that I should have been made aware of from my 1st time in the union store.

I'd like to acknowledge Maria at the customer service desk. My husband and I visited Best Buy today with an issue with our son's Nabi tablet. She was friendly, professional, and kept her cool when the CS area got busy. She helped us , other customers, and her own staff with questions. She did this all with a smile. Multitasking and great customer service at its finest. Not to mention the issue we came in with was resolved on the first trip. THANK YOU MARIA!
