Lets first start with the secretaries. They are rude, have no phone etiquette, laugh at you if you ask questions to clarify, and skip your name in the office. Second, it's always overbooked since he mainly takes Medicare/Medicaide patients so he needs to compensate poor reimbursements by the State with more patients. Thus, getting an appointment is close to never and when you do you're in the office for more than four hours. Lastly, he operated my grandmother over 1 year ago and she has had constant sweelling of her right knee, calve, and ankle. It constantly hurts and looks bruised. We are going to go to get a second opinion. However, other reviews say he has botched other total replacements. I wish we had done research before.

This is the worst doctor and worst facility I have ever been to in my 62 years of life. He is rude and arrogant and his staff mimics his personality or I should say lack of one. He did surgery on me on December 22nd, made me wait since September even though I was in agony. I went today for my follow up and he wasn't there, had to see his assistant who knew about as much about my case as a stranger in the street...read the chart moron! Dr. Besser is chauvinist, would never speak to me, only to my husband even though my husband said "talk to her!"
My knee surgery was botched, he also put the clamps on my leg so tight that I am covered in bruises from my shin to my thigh. He told me that I would not have good results and he made damn sure I didn't. I will see another doctor because I will never step foot in his office again. Oh yes, forgot to mention that he overbooks because he is greedy and every time I went there it was a three hour wait, except for today of course when he wasn't there and had some guy, not a doctor, do my follow up. Run don't walk, crawl if you have to but get away from this Doctor!

I am in complete agony, swollen knee for 3 weeks now and just called for earliest appointment.....December 5th......are you kidding me?
Dr Besser scoped my right knee a year ago and did an excellent job. Now it's my left knee and I have to wait OVER a month to see him. He's worth the wait, however, I will NEVER last that long without an injection or medication to ease the pain. So what should I do??????????
