Cookies and Carnitas is a casual, self-service kind of place with good tacos and good Benvenuti Pizzeria . Although the tacos are each, they're so large that 2 of them are enough for one meal (3 tacos if you're ravenous). The interior is simple, spacious, and clean, and it consists of bold red walls decorated with local art (for sale).

I'm not sure what the bad review is for because their pizza is really good. Nice people and neighborhood gem. I like how everything is fresh and it's like a real European trattoria. I usually get the meatball sub and it is very tasty while they toast the bread for me
