Most comfortable shoes I ever put on in my life!

PLEASE listen to this...I have always wanted a pair of Belgian Shoes, my daughter bought a pair for me for Christmas 2011. I wore them for the first and only time 12-27-2011 for 5 hours and noticed the left foot was becoming increasingly loose, then discovered that the shoe was coming apart at the stitching by the tongue. I, needless to say was very disappointed, I returned the shoes via UPS and asked for my Mater Card to be credited as I did not want a replacement. Today the shoes were returned to me REPAIRED, I then called the store and was very rudely told they are NOT returnable since they were worn. I asked the clerk how would I know that the shoes were defective if I did not wear them to discover that the shoes were falling apart, again she said "no returns if the shoes were worn" that I replyed was obsurd. To make a very long and disappointing story short, I now seem to own a $400.00 pair of new, repaired and obviously inferior but great looking pair of Belgian Shoes. Please just admire the shoes by picture but NEVER buy a pair. Rudest, most unhelpful retailer in NYC, I will never buy shoes from Belgian Shoes again, period.

When I purchased the shoes the salesman assured me that I needed a snug fit because the shoes will stretch. I purchased them and had a crest put on. After receiving them in the mail, I called the store and the salesperson again assured me that the snug fit was what I was supposed to feel and to just wear them in. After the bleeding blisters, and ONE wear, they salesmen refused to exchange the shoe. I offered to pay the difference for another crest and asked if there was a way he can work with me. The salesmen was rude, obnoxious, stubborn, and had NO sympathy for my situation. I explained that I had planned to place another order for a birthday gift...but they refused to help me. Belgian Shoes does NOT stand behind their product nor care about their customers. I will NEVER purchase from them again. Horrible waste and frustrating experience!!
